questionoftheday asks: Have you ever experienced daja-vous? If so, how often do you experience it? Do you know why you experience it?

My answer: I experienced Deja Vu exactly once. I walked into the kitchen at my grandmothers house and she was doing the dishes, she turned to say hello to me and the plate that she was holding slipped from her hand and shattered on the floor. The entire scene felt like I was remembering just before it happened. I knew she was going to drop the plate right before she did. Like I had seen it in a dream. I was 6, so I was pretty sure I was psychic. Alas, I am not. It never happened again.
