So. This week was a pretty busy week for me. Sat-Tues I had work. It's the busy season for my job but I was still able to finish 4 books! Simon vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda & Leah on the Offbeat by Becky Albertalli and Warcross & Wildcard by Marie Lu. I have lots of feeling about them which I'm not going to clutter this post with but if anyone is interested in talking about them I can make a post (or 2) later.
Yesterday would have normally been a hang out on the internet day for me. But it was the first session of a new Pathfinder campaign. And, normally the dm that's doing this campaign hosts at his house so I didn't realize my husband and I were hosting. So I spent the early part of the day cleaning up. It was a fun first session though! Memorable too. Although, that's mostly because we rolled so poorly all night. We almost got killed by skeletons, and then again by a blizzard, and then again by some kobolds. None of those things should have been enough kill us. It was embarrassing for our characters how much they sucked at doing anything.
I'm also online slightly less than I normally am because I'm playing through Final Fantasy 10 for the first time. I really wanted to play a video game, and I bought FFXV because it's beautiful, but it was very overwhelming as someone who's only played 1 game from start to finish. So, I nixed that and I got FFX because I knew it was turn based and not and open world. I hate Blitzball and think there should be more save spheres, but overall I'm having fun.
So. That's pretty much what I'm doing with life right now. And on tumblr, or twitter, or any other social media I probably would have made that into a few separate posts because I like to compartmentalize. But the average post rate here seems much lower, and I didn't want to clog anyone's feed by making a bunch of posts in a row. But, if they were all separate posts I would be going into more detail about everything. So, lovely people that have subscribed to me. Would you prefer in the future short vague posts like this, and then starting a convo about anything you want more information about, or would you prefer I just do longer more specific posts from the jump?
